Now oak is an interesting conversation because it was overused. Now, I almost never
sell oak, even though realtors always try to use it as a selling point in homes, people

area are oak wood. But, having said that, quarter sawn White Oak is very nice. In fact

Omega? That’s a good question, because they are both about the same price so why
have both? Here’s why: Omega is a framed cabinet (meaning there is 1-1/2” frame all
around the front of the cabinet) and Columbia is a frameless cabinet. Each has an
advantage. The frame cabinet can have an inset door to get a very nice furniture look
and from an installation perspective, they are easier to install and therefore contractors
and builders love them. A frameless cabinet is a bit harder to install, but with a little
pre-knowledge that is not an issue and the finished look is very sophisticated and have
more useable storage (wider drawers and rollouts for the same size frame cabinet). My
personal preference is frameless.
